Anantara & Bodu Huraa merge   - 29 July , 2007
 

We are delighted to announce that as of January 2008, Anantara Resort
Maldives will expand to encompass Bodu Huraa, following and extensive
upgrade of the 50 Over Water Bungalows and guest areas.

The fresh and exciting new look will comprise the following enhancements:

  • In addition to Beach Villas and Over Water Suites, guest room
    choices will now include, as a lead in room type: Over Water Bungalows and
    Deluxe Over Water Bungalows - therefore increasing Anantara Resort to a
    total of 160 rooms.
     

  • Two additional restaurants will offer guests an even greater range of
    dining options and tempt the most discerning of palates. Anantara Resort
    Maldives will provide a total of 7 diverse, dining choices (adding to the
    existing Fushi Café, Fuddan Fusion Grill, Terrazzo, Baan Huraa and Aqua),
    each offering fine wines, culinary delicacies and sweeping views across
    the Indian Ocean.
     

  • A brand new Fitness Centre will feature resistance and
    cardiovascular equipment and a free weights area. The Spa will undergo a
    complete upgrade using soothing colors and nature-inspired materials which
    are reflective of the islands relaxing ambiance. The enhancements will
    ensure that guests can work out with the latest in sports technology and
    enjoy spa experiences in an oasis of relaxation and calm
     

  • The addition of a "Kids Club' on Anantara Island is reflective of the
    resorts dedication to providing resources and activities to guests of all
    ages!
